Kerning Arch is the architecture and interior practice of the Kerning collective. We work across workplace, retail, hospitality and the public realm — partnering with operators, developers and brands who care how a place feels in its tenth year, not just its first month.

Concept Design
02 / 09Spatial concept, mood, materiality. A single direction is set — supported by reference imagery and a written rationale.
Schematic Design
03 / 09Plans, sections and key elevations resolved at scale. Major millwork, ceiling and lighting strategies fixed.
Detail Design
04 / 09Construction-grade drawings, material specs, finishes schedule, joinery and FF&E packages.
Tender Documentation
05 / 09Issued-for-tender package: bills of quantities, scope splits and technical clarifications ready for pricing.
Tender Management
06 / 09Contractor shortlist, RFI cycles, value engineering and award. We sit on the client side of the table throughout.
Construction Support
07 / 09Site visits, shop drawing review, issue resolution. We keep the design intent intact through the build.
Guideline Package
08 / 09A maintainable handover dossier — finishes, lighting scenes, operating notes — so the space stays as designed.
Post-completion Review
09 / 09Six- and twelve-month visits. We measure how the space is being used and feed the findings back into the next project.
